Installation Recommendation – TIKAL TEF-GEL

For a secure and long-lasting installation of the Spreader LED 6600 Series, we recommend using TIKAL TEF-GEL.

In marine environments, contact between dissimilar metals such as stainless steel fasteners and aluminum components can promote galvanic corrosion. TIKAL TEF-GEL helps isolate these materials and provides additional protection for the installation.

Apply a thin layer of TEF-GEL to the screw threads and relevant electrical contacts during installation. This helps protect against moisture, oxidation and contact corrosion and supports the long-term reliability of the marine lighting installation.
